Saudi Arabia
Human capability programmes, written so judges can score them
AEA Awards can evaluate a Saudi learning programme that supports human capability or Saudization. It does not award Vision 2030 itself, and it is not a Human Capability Development Program prize. Judges need the role family, the baseline date, and what changed after the learning intervention. Nominations open on 20 October 2026.

Separate the national goal from the entry
Vision 2030 and the Human Capability Development Program explain why a board funded the work. They are not the evidence. The entry is one academy, one ministry pathway, or one employer programme with people you can count.
Write the operational constraint in plain language: a critical role that nationals could not yet fill, a leadership bench that was too thin, or a time-to-competence that operations would not accept. Then show the learning system you changed, not the strategy slide.
Evidence a Saudi board will recognise
Name the role family. Give the baseline date and the source system. Show supervised practice, not only course completion. State who is now competent or in post, and over what period — usually 6 to 18 months.
Nitaqat banding can sit in the context. It does not replace the pathway. If several entities shared one curriculum, say so, and report the result for the entity whose data you are allowed to use.
Strategy language and what judges can score
| Useful as context | Needed in the entry |
|---|---|
| Vision 2030 or HCDP alignment | The programme, the cohort, and the owner |
| A national localisation target | The role family and the baseline date |
| An academy brand or a vendor name | What learners did on the job afterward |
How to prepare the entry
- 1
Choose one programme
A corporate academy, a graduate pathway, or a public capability programme. Not the whole national strategy.
- 2
Attach the number
One metric, one baseline date, one source. If finance does not recognise the metric, pick another.
- 3
Show the learning, not the hire alone
Supervised practice, manager sign-off, and time-to-competence. A hiring percentage without a pathway will not carry the entry.
- 4
Pick the category once
Strategy, leadership, or corporate training — whichever matches the result. Then register interest before 20 October 2026.
Frequently asked questions
Does entering AEA Awards mean the programme is part of Vision 2030? +
No. You may describe that alignment if it is true. AEA does not certify Vision 2030 programmes and does not speak for any ministry.

Usually Best Learning & Development Strategy or Best Corporate Training Program. Use the nationalisation guide if the evidence is a role family, and the Saudi awards page for the country overview.
Can a government academy enter? +
Yes, with permission to share the evidence. See the government workforce page for public-sector pathways.
Can we submit in Arabic? +
Yes. Arabic, English, or both.
When does the 2027 cycle open? +
