Nationalisation Metrics Learning Leaders Can Defend in GCC Boards

2026-09-08 · 7 min

Saudization, Emiratisation, Qatarisation, and Kuwaitisation only count as learning evidence when a named role family moved through a pathway.

A localisation percentage on a slide is a hiring KPI. It becomes a learning story only when you can answer: which roles, which pathway, who coached, who is now competent in post.

What boards actually test

They test causality. If the nationals would have been hired anyway, the academy did not create the result. Show gates: assessment, on-job practice, manager sign-off.

What AEA judges will ask

The same questions. Nationalisation programmes belong in AEA Awards when the evidence pack would survive a ministry audit — role-level, dated, and bilingual where the work is Arabic-first.
