AEA Awards accepts learning programmes run in or for Abu Dhabi — government and semi-government employers, energy, finance, healthcare, and corporate academies — when the entry shows a dated baseline and a workforce outcome. It is not an Abu Dhabi government award. Nominations for the 2027 cycle open on 20 October 2026.

Who this page is for
Use it if the learners, the academy, or the business result sit in Abu Dhabi. A regional headquarters in Dubai with an Abu Dhabi cohort can enter either page; write the entry about the cohort you can evidence.
Typical programmes include graduate schemes in energy and finance, leadership pathways in government entities, safety and technical academies, and bilingual onboarding for mixed national and expatriate teams.
What to put in the entry
Name one programme and one metric a CFO or director already recognises: time-to-competence in a role family, Emiratisation of critical roles after supervised practice, safety incidents, or internal promotion into a named grade.
Completion rates and a platform launch date are context. They are not the result. If the baseline has no date, write that it was not measured yet and do not invent one.

No. AEA Awards is an independent MENA learning awards programme, based in Sharjah. Abu Dhabi organisations may enter. A nomination is not a government endorsement.
How is this different from the Dubai page? +
Same programme and same categories. This page is written for Abu Dhabi employers and academies. The Dubai page is written for Dubai. The UAE page covers all emirates.
Can a semi-government entity enter? +
Yes, if the learning programme has a measurable workforce result and you have permission to share the evidence.
Are Arabic submissions accepted? +
Yes. English, Arabic, or both. Judges score the evidence, not the language.
Is there a fee? +
No fee to enter and no fee to win. Digital recognition is included. A physical trophy is optional and may have a fulfilment fee if you order one.
