Corporate universities
Awards for academies that changed an operating metric
AEA Awards recognises MENA corporate universities and capability academies when they can show a baseline, a designed pathway, and a result the business already tracks — not a course catalogue. Nominations open 20 October 2026.
What academy judges reject
Faculty lists, campus photos, and partnership logos without learner outcomes. A university brand is not a scoring factor.
Enter L&D strategy if the academy reset how the business builds capability. Enter corporate training if one flagship programme moved a KPI. Enter digital transformation only if the platform was used at scale.
Frequently asked questions
Is a corporate university the same as L&D? +
Often yes in structure. Judges still want one programme story with a metric, not the entire faculty.
Can we enter a graduate academy? +
Yes — usually onboarding or corporate training, with time-to-productivity evidence.
Do academic accreditations help? +
They are context, not a score. Impact still has to move.
When do nominations open? +
20 October 2026.
Can a vendor-run academy enter? +
The employing organisation should own the entry and the numbers. Vendors may support production, not invent outcomes.
