What Qatar judges actually read
Strong Qatari entries name the constraint (localisation of a critical role, safety, time-to-competence on a plant, or leadership bench) and show what changed after the intervention.
Global templates with a Doha logo do not score. Programmes that ran in Arabic and English, with manager enablement, do.
Categories Qatari teams typically enter
Corporate training and L&D strategy for academies; onboarding for graduate and contractor programmes; digital transformation for LMS or AI rollouts that employees actually used; leadership development for succession benches.

Can Qatar government entities enter? +
Yes, where the programme shows measurable workforce impact and meets category eligibility.
Do we need English and Arabic evidence? +
You may submit in either language. If the workforce is Arabic-first, Arabic evidence is often the cleaner pack.
Is there a Qatar-only trophy? +
AEA Awards is a MENA programme with country-ready categories, not a separate Qatar gala. Qatar programmes compete on the same published rubric.
When should we start gathering evidence? +
Now. Nominations open 20 October 2026. A baseline without a date is not a baseline.
Can contractors and joint ventures enter? +
Yes, if you have permission to share the metrics and the learners were in your programme.
