What AI learning awards actually reward
Saudi Arabia designated 2026 the Year of AI. Gulf and North African employers are rolling out literacy, copilot, and specialist tracks. Judges are already tired of “we added ChatGPT.” A winning AI learning award requires a use case, a data-residency answer, and an outcome metric.
AEA Awards scores AI programs as learning systems: curriculum, practice, manager enablement, governance, and results. A vendor implementation can win if the client workforce outcome is evidenced. A feature tour cannot.
Evidence judges expect
Good nominations specify who was upskilled (frontline staff, analysts, or leaders), what they can do now that they could not do before, and how risk was handled (human review, banned use cases, Arabic language quality).
